GENERAL
The Haganah Historical Archives (hereinafter: HHA), which operates within The IDF & Defense Establishment Archives, at Israel's Ministry of Defense (hereinafter: MOD), offers the information on this Internet site (hereinafter: the service). The information offered at this site is part of the information offered at the HHA.
COPYRIGHT
According to Copyright Laws, including Israeli Copyright Laws, and pursuant to international treaties, copyright in the HHA's publications, including those provided by the service, belong to the State of Israel / MOD. These rights apply, inter alia, to text, pictures, drawings, maps, audio, tracts, video tracts, graphics and program applications (hereinafter: 'the protected material'), unless stated explicitly that the copyright in the protected material belongs to another party.
Subject to the Copyright Laws, the User may not copy, redistribute, retransmit or publish protected material, without the prior written consent of the HHA.
The User may make 'fair use' of the protected material.
When quoting from the protected material, the User must attribute the source of the quotation. The User may not alter, modify or in any other fashion change the protected material in a manner which would cast aspersion on the creator of the protected material.
LIABILITY
The service is provided to the public 'as is'.
The State of Israel shall not be held liable for the suitability to the User's needs. Nor shall the State of Israel be held liable for any error or mistake found in the material provided by the service.
The State of Israel shall not be held liable for any changes made in the material provided by the service if such changes were made by User or by a third party.
The User alone shall bear responsibility for the way in which he/she uses the service and/or the material provided by the service.
The state of Israel shall not be held liable for any loss or damage caused to User or third parties arising directly or indirectly from the use of the service, including loss or damage due to the use of application that were downloaded directly through the service or that were activated by using the service, including ActiveX, JavaScript, and Java.
For the purposes of the above terms, 'The State of Israel' includes its employees and agents.

This service contains links to external sites. The following conditions shall apply to the use of these links, without derogating from the other conditions in these 'Terms of Use'.

The User may forward comments to HHA, via this site or via e-mail and subject to full provision of User's name and address. HHA may convey its reply, if necessary, by mail, fax, this service or any other means.
LEGISLATION
The User's attention is drawn to the provisions of the Computers Act of 1995.
OFFICIAL PUBLICATIONS OF THE STATE OF ISRAEL
In any event of discrepancy between the material provided by this service and any legislation, regulations or other publication published in 'Rashumot', the later shall be deemed to be correct.
In any event of discrepancy between the material provided by this service and any other official MOD publication, MOD shall determine which information shall be deemed correct.
