The "Camp David Accords"
The "Camp David Accords" a framework peace agreement between Israel and Egypt was reached with American mediation. A full peace agreement between Israel and Egypt was signed on March 26, 1979. The agreement set, inter alia, a timetable and phase framework for the Israeli withdrawal from the Sinai Peninsula, following the evacuation of the town Yamit.
