The IDF withdrawal from Lebanon
On May 24, 2000 the IDF unilaterally quit all Lebanese territories, subject to the Government decision of January 2000. Thus ended 18 years of occupation and operational activities in Southern Lebanon. On June 18, 2000, the marking of the Israeli-Lebanese border was finalized.
